The Pony Express 1040-SE is an electric platform cart from Electro Kinetic Technologies built to move heavy loads across industrial floors with very little physical effort. It carries up to 1,000 pounds and rides on a 25.5 inch wide by 40 inch long deck, giving operators more staging room than the standard 1040-E while keeping a tight footprint for crowded aisles. As part of the Pony Express 1040 Extreme family it climbs grades of up to 15 degrees at full rating, so it handles loading ramps and sloped docks.
Power comes from a 44 Ah deep-cycle AGM battery that delivers up to 8 hours of operation and recharges in about 4 hours by an internal UL, cUL and CE listed smart charger that runs on standard 120 or 240 VAC. A front-wheel transaxle with a maintenance-free permanent-magnet motor drives the cart through a two-speed thumb-wheel throttle, moving from 0 to 1.5 mph on the low setting and 0 to 3 mph on the high setting in both forward and reverse. Solid-state regenerative braking and an automatic holding brake keep the load secure on inclines.
The 1040-SE is built around a welded steel frame with a powder-coat finish, a non-skid deck and full wrap-around bumpers, riding on foam-filled puncture-proof tires that never go flat and leave no marks. Keyed power, an emergency-stop button and a horn round out the operator controls. The cart weighs 245 pounds, is proudly made in the USA and is backed by a 5-year warranty on the frame and motor, making it a durable fit for warehouses, hospitals, retail back rooms, hotels and food-service operations.

The Pony Express 1040-E Motorized Platform Carts comes with a 5-year warranty on the frame and motor. It doesn't cover service/transportation costs, normal wear items, damage from misuse, unauthorized work or modifications, and outdoor use. Shipping damage and incidental damages are also not covered. Warranty only valid for original buyer with a sales receipt. Any warranty changes need approval from Electro Kinetic Technologies, LLC.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. I am very thankful for the day I first saw the MOJO on the internet. I I now own my very own MOJO.

Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted. This company Listen's They are very professional, they listen to what you would like to have, and they may make suggestions, but the decisions are up to you. The person I talked with was very professional. He knew what products I may like, but in the end it was my choice of what to buy, or not buy. There was no pressure, just suggestions I appreciate people who don't pressure you into buying something.
I bought a mobility scooter for my upcoming vacation. I needed something to take me over grass.
