They say you shouldn't take it out regularly in heavy rain but we've been caught in heavy rain a few times and all good. The main thing seems to be not to have the charger wet whilst charging - we learned the hard way so I'm giving 4 stars overall. The actual scooter? Probably a 5.

There is a disadvantage in that you can't just remove the canopy in the summer, and where I live the summers can be brutal and the plastic makes you even hotter. I found a tint product on Amazon which I applied to the plastic and now it's much better.

The in-home warranty on all Afiscooter S4 mobility scooter is for 2 years from date of purchase.
This includes everything besides wear & tear (such as seat wear, flat tire etc.) and the batteries, which are covered for 1 year by their manufacturer.
You can also add one extra year of this service as an optional upgrade HERE.
After the warranty period, you are still welcome to contact us at any time.
Parts are available through us or the manufacturer, though you will be charged for these.
If you need someone to install parts or for other labor services post-warranty, the same local technicians that repair your scooter under warranty can do so at a charge post-warranty.

Yes. It brakes on its own when you let go of the throttle lever, so one hand can drive and stop it, though steering with the same hand takes practice. A left speed lever is offered for left hand users. An emergency handbrake backs up the automatic brake.
A hardtop roof and a clear windshield shade you from sun and keep off sudden showers, but the sides are open. A rain cover that closes the sides is a listed option. The canopy raises the height to 65 in and adds 33 lb. In very strong wind the canopy can catch the wind like a sail, so stay in on those days.
Not in most car trunks. It is 65 in long and 27 in wide (35 in with all-terrain tires), and weighs 342 lb with batteries (238 lb without), plus 33 lb for the canopy. Most pickup beds fit it with a ramp. Otherwise a platform lift on a trailer hitch works, but the vehicle must take at least 500 lb of tongue weight, which rules out most sedans and hatchbacks.
It comes with its batteries installed, a charger and two rearview mirrors. It arrives mostly assembled, so setup means cutting it out of its crate, rolling it off, topping up the tires and charging it. Listed options include

Usually not. Medicare generally does not pay for heavy duty class scooters, and Heavy Duty Mobility does not work with Medicare or bill private insurance, so this is a private purchase. Any scooter Medicare does cover needs a doctor's order, a need for use in the home and a Medicare enrolled supplier. Veterans can ask their VA prosthetics office about mobility aids.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. I am very thankful for the day I first saw the MOJO on the internet. I I now own my very own MOJO.

Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
