If you need someone to install parts or for other labor services post-warranty, the same local technicians that repair your scooter under warranty can do so at a charge post-warranty.

The Excursion is rated for riders up to 500 lb, and that rating covers everything on the scooter, including bags. It has a 20 in wide high-back captain's seat with suspension, which makes it a fit for larger and bariatric riders. Do not ride over the rated weight.
Shoprider rates the Excursion for up to 24 miles on the 50Ah batteries, 29 miles on 60Ah and 33 miles on 75Ah. Treat the top figure as a best case. Rider weight, hills, rough ground, cold weather and a partial charge all shorten real range.
Shoprider lists a top speed of 6.8 mph on level ground. Rider weight and hills can lower it. A slow speed mode keeps it gentle in stores and crowded places while you get used to the controls.
Yes, within its ratings. The Excursion has 4 in of ground clearance, large 12.5 in pneumatic tires and full suspension for bumpy roads and rough ground. It is rated for an 8 degree slope (a 14 percent grade). Climb straight up a hill, never across it, and avoid sand and snow.
The Excursion is 56 in long and 27 in wide and needs a 73 in turning radius. That suits sidewalks, parking lots and outdoor paths. Inside a home or small store it needs wide doorways and room to turn, so measure your tightest spots first.
No. At 324 lb it will not fit in most car trunks. It fits in most pickup truck beds with a loading ramp. Without a pickup, the usual answer is a hitch mounted platform lift, which needs a trailer hitch and a vehicle rated for at least 500 lb of tongue weight.
Yes. The Excursion uses a wig-wag throttle lever, so either hand can drive forward and reverse with no changes. The brakes apply on their own when you let go of the lever. It also has LED headlights, mirrors and a digital display on the tiller.
The Excursion is listed with two 12V 75Ah batteries, 50 lb in battery weight, and an off-board 8A charger. The batteries are maintenance-free and need no care until they wear out, usually after around 2 years of use. Off-board means the charger is a separate unit rather than built into the scooter.
An occasional shower or puddle is fine, but avoid planned trips in the rain and do not ride in snow or on ice. Cold weather is safe to ride in but wears the batteries faster. Very strong wind can tip a scooter, so wait it out.
Heavy Duty Mobility does not work with Medicare or bill private insurance directly, so this is a private purchase. Medicare generally does not pay for heavy duty class scooters like the Excursion, because it treats their extra capability as not needed in the home. Veterans can ask their VA prosthetics office about mobility aids.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. I am very thankful for the day I first saw the MOJO on the internet. I I now own my very own MOJO.

Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted. I was a little hesitant at first because they were from Florida.
