ScootaTrailer measures 66" (length) x 36.5" (width) and an overall length of 93" and fits most mobility scooters on the market. ScootaTrailer's total trailer weight is 475 lbs when empty of cargo, including with aluminum top. Without the aluminum top, the total weight is 390 lbs. Is it easy to operate? Absolutely, yes! Can My Vehicle Tow a ScootaTrailer? Every make & model of vehicle can tow a ScootaTrailer with up to a 600 lb. electric wheelchair or scooter inside, and they can all do it at any highway speed without the complication of overloading the vehicle or the hitch. This includes sub-compacts, compacts, medium & large vehicles, trucks & SUV’s. Sub-compact examples: Honda Fit, Ford Focus, Toyota Prius, VW Beetle, Nissan Versa, Smart Car, etc., etc., and the list goes on. The sub-compacts just mentioned, only have a 100 lb. – 1,000 lb. rated hitch available. That’s still more than enough for either trailer, with ANY chair or scooter up to 600 lbs. What if my order hasn’t arrived by the time it was supposed to?
Especially since Covid, which made the truck driver shortage issue even worse than it was, your shipment might be delayed. If this happens, please call us 1-888-233-5563, or the number of the shipping company we provide you with so you can get an update on your shipping status.
What happens if my order for an ScootaTrailer is damaged?
- When your item arrives, do not sign any forms until you have opened the boxes and ascertained that everything is as it should be.
- If the external boxes are damaged, make sure to note this next to your signature. Make sure to inspect the contents before signing.
- If your item is damaged in a way that the entire item needs to be replaced, just refuse the entire delivery.
- If your item is damaged in a way that a spare part needs to be sent out and installed, accept the delivery, and list any damaged items next to your signature.
