TranSport Plus Folding Mobility Scooter
It weighs 70 lb with the standard batteries, 60 lb with the optional lithium pack and 53 lb without batteries. The frame alone, without seat and batteries, is 46 lb. It folds in seconds to 31 by 21 by 18 in and can stand upright in a closet, corner or car trunk.
The standard batteries are two 12 V 12Ah sealed lead acid batteries, which federal rules generally allow on a mobility aid as checked equipment. The optional 25.2 V 10.05Ah lithium pack is about 253 Wh, under the 300 Wh limit for a lithium battery removed and carried in the cabin. Each airline makes the final call.
EV Rider rates it for up to 8 miles per charge and a top speed of 4 mph, driven by a 270 W rear-wheel drive motor. Rider weight, slopes and cold weather reduce range. A full charge takes 4 to 6 hours, and both the lead acid and lithium chargers accept 110 to 240 volt input.
It is rated for riders up to 250 lb. The cushioned seat is 16 in wide and 13 in deep with a folding backrest and sits 20 in off the floor. The floorboard gives 19 by 13 in of legroom. Count anything you carry toward the limit.
It turns in a 32 in radius, which allows sharp turns indoors and outdoors. It is 36 in long and 21 in wide, and the tiller adjusts from 31 to 37 in high.
The maximum recommended climb is 6 degrees and ground clearance is 2.4 in. Solid rubber tires never go flat, rear anti-tip wheels come standard, and an articulated front end adds stability. Climb slopes straight on, not across them.
It has front and rear lights for evening rides, electromagnetic brakes, rear anti-tip wheels and a key switch so it only runs with the key. A digital wig-wag throttle and a digital display keep the controls simple.
Getting caught in light rain or going through a puddle now and then is fine, but avoid trips when rain is forecast. Snow and ice are not recommended, and cold weather wears on the battery's health and lifetime. Very strong wind can be an issue.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. I am very thankful for the day I first saw the MOJO on the internet. I I now own my very own MOJO.
