The Electro Kinetic Technologies Model 1080 is the cart that carries patient specific medication from the central pharmacy out to the medication rooms at each nurse station, where it is unloaded into patient bins. It handles multiple medication packaging methods including unit dose envelopes, and it holds enough to serve more than 20 nursing stations in one trip.
EK Tech developed and tested it with a major children's hospital against a fast paced, high volume, round the clock standard, and the build shows it. Six pull out drawers measure 34 in wide by 24 in deep and carry dividers you can move to match the size of your packaging. The whole cart is 44 in long, 31 in deep and 57 in high, it rides on 6 in cushioned swivel casters that keep the noise down and roll smoothly in and out of elevators, and the doors lock, with an optional electronic locking system for HIPAA and JCAHO requirements. It comes in 16 colors and carries a 12 year warranty.
The motorized part is a pairing. EK Tech adapts the 1080 to accept a Pony Express electric tugger, or mounts it on a Pony Express motorized platform cart, so one person can move several loaded medication carts at once or run a route that involves inclines and long hauls. Each unit ships by freight carrier on a skid from the EK Tech factory in Wisconsin. Once your order is confirmed we give you the current factory lead time with your quote, and transit typically adds three to seven business days depending on your distance. We coordinate dock delivery or liftgate service with you when the build is scheduled.
Yes. As soon as your unit ships we email you a tracking link so you can follow it all the way to your dock.
The Model 1080 pharmacy cart carries a 12 year warranty from Electro Kinetic Technologies, and any Pony Express tugger or motorized platform ordered with it carries the 2 year warranty on the frame and drive system. It does not cover service or transportation costs, normal wear items, damage from misuse, unauthorized work or modifications, or outdoor storage. Shipping damage and incidental damages are also not covered. The warranty is valid for the original buyer with a sales receipt, and any warranty changes need approval from Electro Kinetic Technologies, LLC.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
