The Pony Express 1033 is a motorized medical records cart from Electro Kinetic Technologies. It removes the push and pull forces that build up when a loaded records cart has to cross carpet, thresholds and inclines, which is where most of the strain lands on the person moving it. The operator walks behind and the drive system does the work, so one person can move a full cart of charts and files across a building without leaning into it.
A center wheel drive system with spring suspension gives the cart a tight turning radius and keeps traction over bumps and inclines, and it is rated to handle inclines up to 6 degrees. Variable speed control with high and low settings runs travel from 0 to 3 mph (0 to 4.8 km/hr), so an operator can move at a steady pace down an open corridor and slow right down at a doorway, an elevator or a crowded records room.
On board batteries and a smart charging system deliver 10 to 15 miles of operation between charges, which covers a full round of delivery runs in most buildings. Non-marking tires protect finished floors and an optional no-flat system takes tire maintenance out of the picture. Key or keyless on and off control stops the cart being used by anyone who should not have it, and an emergency stop button and a horn sit at the operator station.
EK Tech builds the 1033 around your records room rather than the other way around. Overall size, the number of shelves and the speed and acceleration profile are all set when the cart is ordered, and a vinyl cover can be added for extra protection against the weather when the route runs between buildings. Each unit ships by freight carrier on a skid from the EK Tech factory in Wisconsin. Once your order is confirmed we give you the current factory lead time with your quote, and transit typically adds three to seven business days depending on your distance. We coordinate dock delivery or liftgate service with you when the build is scheduled.
Yes. As soon as your unit ships we email you a tracking link so you can follow it all the way to your dock.
The Pony Express 1033 comes with a 2 year warranty on the frame and drive system. It does not cover service or transportation costs, normal wear items, damage from misuse, unauthorized work or modifications, or outdoor storage. Shipping damage and incidental damages are also not covered. The warranty is valid for the original buyer with a sales receipt, and any warranty changes need approval from Electro Kinetic Technologies, LLC.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. I am very thankful for the day I first saw the MOJO on the internet. I I now own my very own MOJO.

Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted. I was a little hesitant at first because they were from Florida. I bought a mobility scooter for my upcoming vacation. I needed something to take me over grass.
