EK Tech transfer carts move the loads that normally need a forklift or an overhead crane. Electro Kinetic Technologies builds motorized rail carts and steerable trackless transfer carts that carry heavy and oversized material up to 40,000 lb across a plant floor under full operator control, with the standard capacity range running from 5,000 to 30,000 lb. Customers use them for industrial pipe, dies, metal coils, structural steel, heavy equipment, components and finished assemblies.
There are two ways to build the cart. Rail carts run on single or dual rail guidance with V-groove or flanged steel wheels, and they can be supplied as mother and daughter pairs when the load is very long. Steerable carts stay trackless on polyurethane or rubber wheels and turn tightly enough to work in crowded aisles. Deck sizes are customized to your exact requirements on both types, and a vertical lift can be added so material arrives at the height the next station needs.
Drive and steering both use AC induction motors under AC Vector Power control, which holds maximum power and torque across the whole speed range instead of falling away like a DC drive. That gives precise control down to 0.1 mph, with a variable range of 0.1 to 1.5 mph or 0.1 to 3 mph and custom ranges available by request. ReGen braking feeds energy back to the pack, swappable 48 VDC AGM or lithium iron phosphate batteries keep around the clock operations running, and the IP66 charger accepts 85 to 270 VAC single phase power under UL, cUL and CSA safety standards.
Controls are built around the operator, with an intuitive tiller on a mast or a wireless joystick, and safety options add an oscillating horn and lights during movement plus perimeter safety scanners. Thermal sensors inside the motor let the controller protect it in harsh conditions, and the battery monitor warns the operator by sight and sound before a pack runs down, with Bluetooth so a whole fleet can be checked from a phone. AC Vector Power keeps full torque available at those crawl speeds, which is what lets an operator inch a coil or a die into place.

Each unit ships by freight carrier on a skid from the EK Tech factory in Wisconsin. Once your order is confirmed we give you the current factory lead time with your quote, and transit typically adds three to seven business days depending on your distance. We coordinate dock delivery or liftgate service with you when the build is scheduled.
Yes. As soon as your unit ships we email you a tracking link so you can follow it all the way to your dock.
The Pony Express Custom Transfer Cart carries the Electro Kinetic Technologies limited warranty on the frame and drive system, with the exact term confirmed on your quote. It does not cover service or transportation costs, normal wear items, damage from misuse, unauthorized work or modifications, or outdoor storage. Shipping damage and incidental damages are also not covered. The warranty is valid for the original buyer with a sales receipt, and any warranty changes need approval from Electro Kinetic Technologies, LLC.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
