Long material is awkward material. Bar stock, piping, extrusions, angles and panels are too long for a normal cart, too wide for a comfortable forklift run and too valuable to swing overhead on a crane. EK Tech motorized long deck carts solve that by putting the whole length on one powered deck and letting a single operator walk it to the next station. Capacities run up to 5,000 lb, and higher payloads are available with dual drive systems.
The reason these carts work in a tight plant is that they pivot around the center of the cart rather than swinging the whole length around a corner. That is the extra maneuverability long loads need to get through a doorway or down a packed aisle. Deck lengths have typically been 12 to 18 feet on the builds EK Tech has delivered, and the factory asks the obvious question back, which is how long do you actually need to go.
Hand controls are placed where the work happens. You choose the left side, the right side, the front, the back, or dual controls, and because the handlebar usually sits off to one side the load can overhang both ends of the deck. Controls at both ends are worth asking for when there is nowhere to turn around, since the operator simply walks to the other end and drives back. Frames are welded, and stainless steel frames are available along with finishes for harsh environments and colors matched to your plant.
The deck itself is built around what rides on it. Choose plate steel, wood or diamond steel, have it pre drilled to your dimensions, and add removable posts or rails to hold material on top, custom cradles to support large diameter loads, shelving units, or powered and non powered conveyors mounted on the deck. Each unit ships by freight carrier on a skid from the EK Tech factory in Wisconsin. Once your order is confirmed we give you the current factory lead time with your quote, and transit typically adds three to seven business days depending on your distance. We coordinate dock delivery or liftgate service with you when the build is scheduled.
Yes. As soon as your unit ships we email you a tracking link so you can follow it all the way to your dock.
The Pony Express Custom Long Deck Cart carries the Electro Kinetic Technologies limited warranty on the frame and drive system, with the exact term confirmed on your quote. It does not cover service or transportation costs, normal wear items, damage from misuse, unauthorized work or modifications, or outdoor storage. Shipping damage and incidental damages are also not covered. The warranty is valid for the original buyer with a sales receipt, and any warranty changes need approval from Electro Kinetic Technologies, LLC.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
