A motorized die cart takes the worst job in a press shop away from your people. These self propelled carts from Electro Kinetic Technologies lift and transport heavy dies under power, and they can be fitted with roller conveyor or ball transfer tops so a die slides on and off the bolster instead of being dragged, pried or slung from a crane. That protects backs and hands from the strains and sprains that die handling causes, and it protects the dies themselves from the knocks that happen every time one is moved by hand.
EK Tech builds each die cart as a custom unit based on standard designs, which keeps the cost sensible while still fitting your presses. Four things get set at the start. Capacity, the maximum and minimum lift height above the floor, the table size, and the size of the conveyor or ball transfer surface on top. Safety and control choices come next. Accordion skirting can close off the lift mechanism, safety edging guards pinch points, and collision detection watches for anything that enters the safe zone of travel. Controls can be side mounted, on a pendant, at dual stations or fully wireless, and a foot control switch frees both hands at the press. An on board scale can be fitted so the payload of the cart is never exceeded, and a magnetic sensor docking system lines the cart up to the press the same way every time.
Frames are welded steel, with stainless steel and aluminum available for wash down or clean areas, and NEMA or IP rated enclosures protect the electronics in harsh shops. Dual independent center wheel drive systems are available where a heavy payload also needs sharp maneuvering, an automatic retractable drive turns the cart into a towable trailer, and lithium iron phosphate battery technology is available where charging time matters. The maximum and minimum lift height above the floor are both set when the cart is engineered, because they depend on your bolster height and how low the cart has to sit to load. EK Tech does not publish a fixed range for the custom die cart line, so we confirm the travel with the factory for your presses.

Each unit ships by freight carrier on a skid from the EK Tech factory in Wisconsin. Once your order is confirmed we give you the current factory lead time with your quote, and transit typically adds three to seven business days depending on your distance. We coordinate dock delivery or liftgate service with you when the build is scheduled.

The Pony Express Custom Die Cart carries the Electro Kinetic Technologies limited warranty on the frame and drive system, with the exact term confirmed on your quote. It does not cover service or transportation costs, normal wear items, damage from misuse, unauthorized work or modifications, or outdoor storage. Shipping damage and incidental damages are also not covered. The warranty is valid for the original buyer with a sales receipt, and any warranty changes need approval from Electro Kinetic Technologies, LLC.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
