The Pony Express Motorized Laundry Cart puts an electric drive under a laundry bin so nobody has to shove a full one across the floor. Electro Kinetic Technologies built this line to cut the push and pull forces that cause musculoskeletal injuries in laundry rooms, housekeeping departments and hotel service corridors, where a soaked bin of towels is far heavier than it looks and has to be moved dozens of times a shift.
Bin capacities run from 14 to 84 cubic feet, with a choice of materials and bin colors, so the cart can be a small ward collection bin or a full laundry room hopper. A center wheel drive system with spring suspension gives a tight turning radius and holds traction over bumps and inclines, which matters when a heavy bin has to come out of an elevator, over a threshold and around a corner without clipping a wall.
Variable speed control with a high and low speed setting runs travel from 0 to 3 mph (0 to 4.8 km/hr) and the handle sits 39 in (990 mm) off the floor, so the operator stands upright instead of bending into the load. The cart is rated for inclines up to 6 degrees. A horn, a key switch and an emergency stop are standard, non-marking tires keep finished floors clean, and the on board battery charger accepts 100 to 240 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz from any standard outlet.
EK Tech can supply the whole unit including the drive system and the bin, or retrofit the bins you already own onto a Pony Express electric platform cart, which is usually the quickest way to power a fleet that is otherwise in good shape. Each unit ships by freight carrier on a skid from the EK Tech factory in Wisconsin. Once your order is confirmed we give you the current factory lead time with your quote, and transit typically adds three to seven business days depending on your distance. We coordinate dock delivery or liftgate service with you when the build is scheduled.
Yes. As soon as your unit ships we email you a tracking link so you can follow it all the way to your dock.
The Pony Express Motorized Laundry Cart comes with a 2 year warranty on the frame and drive system. It does not cover service or transportation costs, normal wear items, damage from misuse, unauthorized work or modifications, or outdoor storage. Shipping damage and incidental damages are also not covered. The warranty is valid for the original buyer with a sales receipt, and any warranty changes need approval from Electro Kinetic Technologies, LLC.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted. I was a little hesitant at first because they were from Florida.
