The Pony Express Motorized Security Linen Cart is an electric linen cart from Electro Kinetic Technologies built for loads up to 2,000 lbs. Its anodized aluminum structure carries that weight of linen behind reinforced double doors, and the doors have an inset pocket for a stainless steel hasp so the cart can be locked. Clean linen, scrubs, uniforms and controlled stock travel the building in a cart that only the right people can open.
The whole point of the powered base is the push and pull forces. A loaded linen cart is one of the heaviest things a housekeeping or laundry team moves by hand, and those forces are what cause the musculoskeletal injuries this product line was designed to remove. Here the drive system moves the load and the operator just steers. A center wheel drive system with spring suspension gives a tight turning radius for corridors, elevators and doorways, and keeps traction over bumps and inclines up to 6 degrees.
The standard unit carries three reinforced shelves measuring 22.5 in by 35 in, adjustable on 2 in centers, inside a cabinet that stands approximately 77.5 in tall. Variable speed control with a high and low setting runs travel from 0 to 3 mph (0 to 4.8 km/hr) and the handle sits 39 in (990 mm) off the floor. A horn, a key switch and an emergency stop are standard, non-marking tires protect finished floors, and the on board battery charger runs on 100 to 240 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz.
EK Tech can supply the complete cart including the drive system and the security unit, or retrofit your existing security unit onto a Pony Express electric platform cart, which is often the cheaper route when your cabinets are still in good condition. Each unit ships by freight carrier on a skid from the EK Tech factory in Wisconsin. Once your order is confirmed we give you the current factory lead time with your quote, and transit typically adds three to seven business days depending on your distance. We coordinate dock delivery or liftgate service with you when the build is scheduled.
Yes. As soon as your unit ships we email you a tracking link so you can follow it all the way to your dock.
The Pony Express Motorized Security Linen Cart comes with a 2 year warranty on the frame and drive system. It does not cover service or transportation costs, normal wear items, damage from misuse, unauthorized work or modifications, or outdoor storage. Shipping damage and incidental damages are also not covered. The warranty is valid for the original buyer with a sales receipt, and any warranty changes need approval from Electro Kinetic Technologies, LLC.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
