Quick Overview

Key Features of the GoRide 2 Plus

  • Two swappable batteries The chair ships with two 48V 2Ah lithium batteries and runs on one at a time, so you can carry a spare and keep going.
  • Light enough to lift The aluminum frame weighs 42 pounds without batteries and folds down small for a car trunk or a closet.
  • Dual 250W motors Two brushless motors drive the rear wheels for steady power over ramps and thresholds.
  • Zero turn steering A 360 degree joystick and a tight turning radius help you move through doorways and around furniture.
  • Electromagnetic brake The chair stops and holds on its own the moment you let go of the joystick.

Built for real trips

The GoRide 2 Plus travels up to 5 miles for a lighter rider and about 3.5 miles at the full 300 pound capacity. Because it carries two batteries and uses one at a time, you can swap in the spare when the first runs low and add range to your day. A full charge takes only about 1.5 to 2 hours.

Comfort that fits your day

The seat measures 18.5 inches wide and 18.5 inches deep and comes with a 3 inch high density foam cushion. Adjustable footrests and a reinforced backrest support you indoors and out, while 7 inch front wheels and 12 inch rear wheels roll over thresholds and sidewalk cracks.

Easy to fold and store

Folded, the chair measures about 28 by 13 by 29 inches, so it slides into most car trunks and tucks into a closet at home. Take off the seat cushion first and the frame folds down in a few seconds. At 42 pounds without the batteries, it is light enough for a caregiver to lift.

Steady and safe control

Dual brushless motors and an electromagnetic brake give you smooth starts and firm stops. The joystick shows battery level and speed setting at a glance, and a freewheel mode lets a helper push the chair by hand when needed. SuperHandy rates the chair for slopes up to about 9 degrees.

How to Purchase & What's Included

How do I order the GoRide 2 Plus?

This product is sold by phone so you get the right setup and the best current price. Call us toll free at 1-888-233-5563 or use live chat and we will take care of everything. All we need is your payment method and your shipping address.

If you are still deciding, we are glad to talk through the options and help you land on the right fit.

Does Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance help pay for the GoRide 2 Plus?

Most powered mobility and equipment products do not meet the strict medical device rules that Medicare and Medicaid use, so they rarely qualify. We do not work with Medicare and we do not bill private insurance directly.

Some private plans reimburse you outside of the Medicare framework. The best way to find out is to call your insurer and ask. If they say yes, we are happy to provide an invoice and proof of purchase so you can file for reimbursement.

Notice to Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries. Medicare pays for equipment only when the supplier has a Medicare supplier number. Heavy Duty Mobility does not have one, so Medicare will not pay for anything we sell you. You are personally and fully responsible for payment.

Shipping, Warranty & Returns

Shipping

How long until my GoRide 2 Plus arrives?

Standard shipping is free. Most orders leave the warehouse within a few business days. Once your electric wheelchair is on the way, expect a transit time of roughly five to ten business days depending on how far you are from the warehouse and the size of the item.

Larger freight items ship on a pallet and the carrier calls ahead to book a curbside delivery appointment that works for you.

Will I get tracking?

Yes. As soon as your order ships we email you a tracking link so you can follow it all the way to your door.

Warranty

What does the GoRide 2 Plus warranty cover?

SuperHandy backs this product with a one year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, measured from the date of the original purchase. Coverage goes to the original buyer.

Normal wear items and damage from misuse, accidents, unauthorized repairs or modifications, and natural disasters are not covered. To make a claim, contact us with a description of the issue and your proof of purchase and we help arrange replacement parts or a replacement product.

If something goes wrong, reach out to us first at 1-888-233-5563. We can often sort out a fix over the phone or ship a replacement part.

Can I return the GoRide 2 Plus?

Returns are possible. Please read the full returns policy for the details, then call us at 1-888-233-5563 and we will help you start the process.

Documentation, Manuals & Safety

Documentation

Safety

What should I know before the first use of the GoRide 2 Plus?

Read the owner manual fully before your first ride or use. Charge the battery as the manual describes and store it charged. Stay within the rated weight capacity and operate at a safe speed for the space you are in.

How do I care for the battery safely?

Use only the charger supplied with the electric wheelchair. Charge indoors on a hard surface away from anything flammable and do not leave a battery charging unattended for long periods. Keep the battery dry and out of extreme heat or cold.

Daily Operation & Transportation

Daily Operation

Is the GoRide 2 Plus easy to drive?

Yes. You steer with a 360 degree joystick and pick from several speed levels. Zero turn steering lets the chair pivot in place, so doorways and tight rooms are simple to handle. Push the joystick the way you want to go and the chair follows.

How long does each battery take to charge?

A full charge takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Plug the charger into any standard 100 to 240 volt outlet. The charger light glows red while charging and turns green when the battery is full.

How do the two batteries work?

The chair includes two 48V 2Ah lithium batteries and runs on one at a time. Carry the second battery as a spare and swap it in when the first runs low. That adds range on longer outings without a long wait to recharge.

How does the chair fold for transport?

Remove the seat cushion, then fold the frame down in a few seconds. Folded, it measures about 28 by 13 by 29 inches and fits most car trunks. At 42 pounds without the batteries, a caregiver can lift it into a vehicle.

Can I use it outdoors?

Yes. The chair rolls best on pavement, sidewalks, and marked crossings. Keep slopes under about 9 degrees and drive slowly downhill. Keep the chair and batteries dry and store them indoors.

Is SuperHandy a Good Brand?

SuperHandy has built its name on one simple idea, which is that with the right tools anyone can take on their own projects and stay independent. The brand launched in 2017 and has grown into a wide lineup of powered outdoor equipment and affordable mobility products.

Focus on Value

SuperHandy designs practical, no nonsense equipment and prices it so more people can afford real power and real independence. That value first approach carries across the whole range, from powered mobility to material handling.

Reach and Availability

SuperHandy products are sold through major retailers across the country and the brand made its trade show debut at Equip Expo in 2023. That broad footprint means parts and support are easier to find than with many niche makers.

Warranty and Support

SuperHandy backs its products with a one year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Support is handled with proof of purchase and a straightforward claim process for replacement parts or a replacement product.

Growing Mobility Range

SuperHandy has expanded into powered mobility with scooters, power wheelchairs, patient lifts and motorized carts that aim to make independence more affordable. We are glad to carry that range and back it with our own service.
