The answer also depends on the user’s weight as well as the kind of terrain the scooter is operated upon.
Please take these manufacturer figures with a grain of salt, bearing in mind manufacturers may test their scooters in optimum conditions you won’t find in real life.
The lifetime of your Pushpak 7000 mobility scooter batteries is approximately 3 years, but very much depends on how much you use your scooter and whether you take good care of your batteries.

Will the accessories ship together and installed on the Pushpak 7000?
With standard delivery, accessories are not assembled on the scooter at time of delivery. With white glove delivery, Pushpak accessories will be attached and Diestco accessories can be attached by request.
How to Purchase & What's Included
Why are mobility scooters so expensive?
We sell all our scooters at the minimum price (MAP) the manufacturer allows us to advertise for. If we advertise for cheaper, we could be prosecuted.
This means we are cheaper or at the same price as all dealers complying with the rules.
If you find another site selling for cheaper, we will price match, so long as they are within MAP.
Scooters can be expensive because of the following reasons:
The recent skyrocketing of shipping prices, coupled with rising inflation, have made these scooters significantly more expensive than they were, say one year ago.
Does Medicare/Medicaid or private insurance help pay for the Pushpak 7000?
Many heavy-duty/recreational mobility scooters do not qualify as medical devices under Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance strict rules. Though you might be disabled and using the device in a full medical sense, Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance seem to want to save as much money as they can, and do so by making the rules about which models qualify very strict.
You might have spent significant time trying to find a Medicare/Medicaid provider online, to no avail. This is because it’s actually very hard for dealers to become Medicare providers, again making it hard for patients to get free scooters, again saving the insurance money.
We don’t work with Medicare. We also do not bill private insurances directly. Some private insurances may reimburse you outside of Medicare’s framework. To check if your insurer does this, we recommend contacting them directly and asking. If they say yes, we’re happy to provide invoices/proof of purchases so you can get your money back from your insurer.

The scooter will be sent to a technician in your area for setup. Once they have set it up (usually 1-2 business days), they will give you a call to arrange delivery.
You have paid for a premium service, so here you can really ask the tech to deliver at any time that suits you, delay for some time if you aren’t ready for delivery, etc. If in doubt, just call us at 1-888-233-5563.
At the time of delivery appointment, the local technician will bring the scooter right into your house, wherever you want it. In most cases, the tech will be able to advise you on how to operate the scooter.

Though we cannot guarantee for all states and localities, wherever we have put this question to the law enforcement of any particular area, we have always been told that since this mobility scooter is used by and designed for disabled people, it may be ridden on the road where situations call for it.
May the Pushpak 7000 mobility scooter be driven on pedestrian sidewalks?
Though we cannot guarantee for all states and localities, wherever we have put this question to the law enforcement of any particular area, we have always been told that since this mobility scooter is used by and designed for disabled people, it may be ridden on pedestrian sidewalks, as long as this is done within reason.
This means riding at a safe speed where others are around and being considerate of the other users that share the sidewalk.
How can I avoid my Pushpak 7000 mobility scooter from being stolen?
- Your Pushpak 7000 mobility scooter comes with a unique ignition key, and much like a car, cannot be started without it.
- You can easily attach a motion alarm which is triggered if someone moves the scooter whilst it’s locked. For more information on these alarms, please call us at 1-888-233-5563.
- You can also purchase a GPS tracker which beams the current location of your scooter wherever it is. This way, even if a thief takes your scooter, you and the police can track its exact location.
- It’s best to store your scooter indoors if you’re able to do so.
Does the Pushpak 7000 mobility scooter have lights for nighttime riding? Does it have turn signals?
Yes, this mobility scooter comes with a full lighting package – a powerful headlight - rear lights as well as front - and rear turn signals. Riding in the dark isn’t for everyone though and you should carefully consider the safety of doing this in your area, even with a full lighting package on your scooter.

I only have use of my left hand. Can the Pushpak 7000 recreational mobility scooter work for left handed users? Can the Pushpak 7000 mobility scooter be operated with one hand?
This scooter’s throttle/accelerator lever can be placed either on the right or left side. Please ask us for this modification before ordering.
Can I ride the Pushpak 7000 mobility scooter in the rain, snow, wind and hot sun?
- Rain: It’s OK and safe if you get caught in the rain once in a while, or go through an occasional puddle, but you should try to avoid a trip if you know it’s going to rain.
- Snow and ice: We cannot take responsibility for using the scooter in these kinds of weather conditions.
- Cold weather: Fine, though it does negatively impact the battery health and lifetime.
- Wind: Generally not an issue unless very strong winds that could tip the scooter over. If you have a mobility scooter with a canopy, remember, very strong winds can act as a sail to tip over your scooter.
- Hot sun: No issue as far as the scooter is concerned. Remember to take along ample hydration!
Do the Pushpak 7000 mobility scooter batteries need maintenance?
This mobility scooter uses maintenance-free batteries which do not need any care until they die, after around 3 years of use.

This scooter will not fit in a car trunk. It might not even fit on a pickup truck bed, depending on size - we can check this together with you based on dimensions.
If you’re planning on transporting your mobility scooter on a pickup truck bed, you’ll probably need a ramp to get the scooter up onto the truck bed.

I don’t have a large enough vehicle to transport the Pushpak 7000 mobility scooter. What are my options?
- Electric lift: The most common solution is to purchase a platform-style vehicle lift, which sits on your trailer hitch.
If you don’t have a trailer hitch on your vehicle, you’ll need to have one installed. The platform lowers right down to road level, you ride the scooter onto the platform, secure the scooter with provided straps and then activate a lift which raises the platform a few feet off the ground. You’ll need a vehicle that can take a max tongue weight of at least 500 lbs, so this won’t work for saloon and hatchback vehicles.

- Manual Platform: Like an electric lift, this has a platform which sits on your trailer hitch, but this platform does not rise and decened, instead, it has a built-in ramp which flips out, allowing you to roll the scooter up onto the platform.

I think it’s interesting they left out optional doors on this product. I got it anyhow because down here it rarely gets cold so this suits me perfect.It’s kind of hybrid in that you feel indoor and outdoor at the same time. If you need fully enclosed this isn’t for you. The rear bench has a ton of space for passengers of grocery shopping. Believe me this isn’t one of those medical scooters. All i get is respect looks in this thing.
