Press a button on the handheld remote and the Transport AF+ folds itself down with one touch. Folded, it measures 30 in long, 16.5 in wide and 17.7 in high, small enough for a car cargo area, a closet or travel on trains and buses.
It weighs 49 lb with its lithium ion battery installed. That is the full weight you lift when loading it into a vehicle. Compare its folded size of 30 x 16.5 x 17.7 in with your trunk opening and floor before you buy.
The Transport AF+ uses one 25.2 volt 10.05Ah lithium ion battery, about 253 Wh. Federal rules allow a lithium battery up to 300 Wh when it is removed from a mobility aid and carried in the cabin, and airlines may ask for 48 hours notice. Each airline makes the final decision, so confirm with your airline before you fly.
It is rated for up to 8 miles per charge, and a full charge takes 4 to 6 hours. The off board charger runs on 110 to 240 volt power, so a standard household outlet works. Rider weight, slopes, cold weather and steady top speed riding all shorten the range.
The Transport AF+ is rated for 250 lb, and that covers the rider plus anything carried on the scooter. The folding seat is 15 in wide and 12 in deep with a 1 in cushion, it sits 19.7 in above the floor, and the deck gives 17 in of legroom.
Top speed is 3.8 mph from a 180 watt 24 volt motor. It has electromagnetic brakes that engage on their own when you release the throttle lever, and a slow speed mode for tight spaces. The wig-wag lever works with either hand, so you can drive it one handed.
Yes. Its turning radius is 31 in and it is 16.5 in wide, which suits store aisles, airports and small rooms. It has four solid tires plus rear anti-tip casters that add stability while loading, unloading and riding over small bumps.
Only gentle ones. The maximum recommended climbing angle is 3 degrees (5 percent), ground clearance is 1.4 in, and the solid tires are 8 in at the rear and 6 in at the front. It is made for smooth indoor floors, sidewalks and travel, not grass, gravel or steep ramps.
Getting caught in light rain or rolling through a puddle now and then is fine, but avoid planned trips in rain. Do not ride it on snow or ice. Cold weather is fine for riding but wears on battery health and shortens range, and very strong wind is the main risk to stability.
Heavy Duty Mobility does not work with Medicare and does not bill private insurance, so this is a private purchase. In general, Medicare Part B covers a scooter only when it is medically necessary for use in the home, with a face to face exam and a written order from your provider, and only through a Medicare enrolled supplier.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. I am very thankful for the day I first saw the MOJO on the internet. I I now own my very own MOJO.

Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
