The Pony Express 1040-E Motorized Platform Carts comes with a 2-year warranty on the frame and motor. It doesn't cover service/transportation costs, normal wear items, damage from misuse, unauthorized work or modifications, and outdoor use. Shipping damage and incidental damages are also not covered. Warranty only valid for original buyer with a sales receipt. Any warranty changes need approval from Electro Kinetic Technologies, LLC.

Yes. The 1040-E is rated to climb a 15 degree incline at the full 1,000 lb load, or 12 degrees on the long deck 1040-LE. Regenerative dynamic braking and an automatic holding brake give controlled stops on a slope.
The 44 Ah AGM battery gives about 8 hours of operation, or up to 10 miles of continuous travel per charge with the Extreme setup. It recharges in about 4 hours from the onboard charger on a 120 or 240 VAC outlet.
Speed is variable from 0 to 1.5 mph on the low setting and 0 to 3 mph on the high setting. A thumb wheel on the handle controls forward and reverse.
A keyed power switch, horn, emergency stop and charge indicator sit on the handle. An electromagnetic parking brake holds the cart when parked, and the non-skid deck has full wrap around bumpers.
The drive wheel is puncture proof and non-marking, the tires are foam filled, and the cart runs under 65 dBA. The 1040-E is built for healthcare, retail, food service and manufacturing settings.
The rated operating range is 0 to 40 C, which is 32 to 104 F. Charging is rated from minus 23 to 60 C, about minus 9 to 140 F. Below freezing is outside the operating range, so check any cold room route first.
It can. As a general rule, OSHA 1910.178 covers motorized hand trucks and other powered industrial trucks and requires that only trained and authorized operators use them. Whether that applies to your site is the employer's decision, so check with your safety lead before the cart goes into service.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. I am very thankful for the day I first saw the MOJO on the internet. I I now own my very own MOJO.

Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted. The person I talked with was very professional. He knew what products I may like, but in the end it was my choice of what to buy, or not buy.
