The in-home warranty on all Afiscooter S4 mobility scooter is for 2 years from date of purchase.
This includes everything besides wear & tear (such as seat wear, flat tire etc.) and the batteries, which are covered for 1 year by their manufacturer.
You can also add one extra year of this service as an optional upgrade HERE.
After the warranty period, you are still welcome to contact us at any time.
Parts are available through us or the manufacturer, though you will be charged for these.
If you need someone to install parts or for other labor services post-warranty, the same local technicians that repair your scooter under warranty can do so at a charge post-warranty.

It is rated for 500 lb as standard, or up to 600 lb with the bariatric upgrade. The rating covers the rider plus anything carried on the scooter. The seat comes in 20, 22 or 24 in widths, so larger riders can choose a wider seat.
Up to 48 miles per charge. That is about 25 to 30 percent more than the sealed lead acid version, because lithium stores more usable energy and holds a steady voltage. Treat 48 miles as a best case, since rider weight, hills, higher speed and cold weather all shorten it.
Top speed is 6.2 to 11.2 mph, depending on the speed upgrade chosen. You set the pace with the throttle lever, and a half speed mode slows it down for stores, crowds or while you get used to driving it. It needs about 90 in to make a 180 degree turn and 45 in for a 90 degree turn.
Yes, within its rating. It climbs slopes up to 11 degrees (20 percent) with a 1,400 watt rear wheel drive motor and has 5 in of ground clearance, front and rear suspension, and air-filled tires 12 in front and 16.8 in rear. It handles grass, gravel, dirt trails and slopes as well as pavement. Climb hills straight on rather than across the slope.
Yes. It brakes on its own when you let go of the throttle lever, so one hand can drive and stop it, though steering with the same hand takes practice. A left speed lever is offered for left hand users. An emergency handbrake backs up the automatic brake.
Getting caught in light rain or crossing a puddle now and then is fine, but avoid setting out when rain is forecast. Snow and ice are not recommended. Cold weather is fine to ride in but wears on battery health, and hot sun is no problem for the scooter. A canopy and a rain cover are offered as options.
Not in most car trunks. It is 65 in long and 27 in wide (35 in with all-terrain tires). Most pickup beds fit it with a ramp. Otherwise a platform lift on a trailer hitch works, but the vehicle must take at least 500 lb of tongue weight, which rules out most sedans and hatchbacks.
It comes with its lithium battery installed, a charger and two rearview mirrors. It arrives mostly assembled, so setup means cutting it out of its crate, rolling it off, topping up the tires and charging it. Listed options include

Usually not. Medicare generally does not pay for heavy duty class scooters, and Heavy Duty Mobility does not work with Medicare or bill private insurance, so this is a private purchase. Any scooter Medicare does cover needs a doctor's order, a need for use in the home and a Medicare enrolled supplier. Veterans can ask their VA prosthetics office about mobility aids.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. I am very thankful for the day I first saw the MOJO on the internet. I I now own my very own MOJO.

Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
