The Passport Prime is made for people who like to get out and go. The aluminum frame folds in one motion and the batteries and seat lift off, so the heaviest piece you carry is about 36 pounds. It fits in most car trunks and it is friendly for airline travel, which makes it a good match for trips, cruises, and visits with family.
The padded seat raises and lowers to suit your height and it lifts out when you need to pack the scooter away. The armrests flip up and slide in or out so getting on and off stays easy. There is real legroom on the deck, so longer outings stay comfortable for riders up to 330 pounds.
This is the first SuperHandy scooter with an electromagnetic brake. The moment you ease off the throttle the scooter slows and holds, even on a gentle slope, so you never have to reach for a lever. It is a calm and predictable way to stop that many seniors tell us they trust right away.
When the day is done the Passport Prime folds to about 39 inches long, 22 inches wide, and 12 inches tall. That is small enough to tuck into a trunk, a closet, or the corner of a room. The solid 6 inch tires never need air, so there is one less thing to check before you head out.

A spare 48V 2Ah lithium-ion battery is the most popular add-on, since a second pack in your bag doubles your range on long days. The padded seat and flip-up armrests are already adjustable, so most riders need nothing else. Some private plans reimburse you outside of the Medicare framework. The best way to find out is to call your insurer and ask. If they say yes, we are happy to provide an invoice and proof of purchase so you can file for reimbursement.

Read the owner manual fully before your first ride or use. Charge the battery as the manual describes and store it charged. Stay within the rated weight capacity and operate at a safe speed for the space you are in.
Use only the charger supplied with the mobility scooter. Charge indoors on a hard surface away from anything flammable and do not leave a battery charging unattended for long periods. Keep the battery dry and out of extreme heat or cold.
Yes. You steer with a simple tiller and set your speed with a thumb throttle, so there is very little to learn. The four-wheel base stays steady at low speeds and the top speed of about 3.7 miles per hour keeps sidewalks and store aisles relaxed. Most new riders feel at home after a few minutes in a driveway or hallway.
A battery charges in about 1.5 to 2 hours from a standard wall outlet. The Passport Prime carries two 48V lithium-ion packs, and together they reach up to 13 miles on a charge. Because the packs lift out, you can charge one indoors while the other rides, which is handy on travel days.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted. The person I talked with was very professional. He knew what products I may like, but in the end it was my choice of what to buy, or not buy.
