The Porto Mobility Toran HD is a heavy duty folding scooter rated for riders up to 400 lbs, with a top speed up to 6 mph and rear dual suspension. It weighs 55.7 lbs without its lithium ion battery and folds by hand to 30.7 x 22.8 in. A PIN code replaces the key, and the scooter locks itself automatically.
The Toran HD is Porto's folding scooter for bigger riders who still want something that comes apart for the car. It is rated for 400 lbs and reaches up to 6 mph, with several speed settings so you can slow it down in stores and crowds. Rear dual suspension softens sidewalk joints and rough pavement.
It starts with a PIN code instead of a key and locks automatically. Let go of the lever and the brake applies by itself. The fold is manual, and folded the Toran HD measures 30.7 in long and 22.8 in wide.
Choose the Toran HD if you weigh more than the 275 lb and 300 lb limits of the Ranger scooters, or if you want extra speed and suspension for outdoor riding. The trade is weight. At 59.5 lbs with the battery it is about twice the Ranger Carbon, so think about who will lift it into the car, or ask us about a portable lift.

The Toran HD is covered by Porto Mobility's standard warranty, since Porto does not list separate terms for this model. Those standard terms cover the frame for 3 years and the electronics and batteries for 1 year.
Porto does not cover damage from abuse, such as taking it through deep water or dropping it. When a covered part fails, Porto sends the replacement part and connects you with a local service provider for the repair. If something goes wrong, contact us first and we will take the claim to Porto's technical team for you.

The Toran HD charges its lithium ion battery from a 29.4V 2A charger. Porto does not publish the battery's amp hours or a range figure, so call us and we will get the current numbers from Porto before you order.

The Toran HD ships from Porto Mobility. Porto quotes delivery in about 1 to 5 business days for models in stock, and we email you the expected ship date after you order. If you need it by a certain day, call us before you buy and we will check the timing.
Yes. As soon as your order ships we email you a tracking link so you can follow it to your door.
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, as long as it comes back in new condition in its original boxes with all of its parts. A 15% restocking fee applies. You prepay the return shipping, and the original shipping charges are not refunded, so keep the boxes until you are sure. Items sold as open box cannot be returned.

Pick a lower speed setting indoors and in crowds, and open it up to as much as 6 mph on clear paths. When you release the lever the brake applies automatically. Porto does not publish a slope rating or a water resistance rating for the Toran HD, so keep to gentle ramps, take them slowly and keep the scooter out of rain and standing water.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
