Quick Overview

Key Features of the GoRide 2

  • Lightweight folding frame that drops to about 40 pounds and tucks into a car trunk.
  • Holds riders up to 300 pounds on a wide high-density foam seat.
  • Two 48V batteries included so you can swap in a fresh one for longer days.
  • Omni-directional joystick with zero-turn steering for tight spaces.
  • Electromagnetic brakes and anti-tip wheelie bars for steady, confident stops.

Light Enough to Travel With

The GoRide 2 weighs about 40 pounds without its batteries and folds down to roughly 29 by 12 by 29 inches. That makes it easy to lift into a trunk, store in a closet, or bring along on a trip. The high-grade aluminum frame keeps the weight low without feeling flimsy.

Comfort for Longer Rides

The seat measures 18.5 inches wide with a thick high-density foam cushion and a reinforced backrest. That gives most riders room to settle in and stay comfortable through errands, appointments, and afternoons out. The upright seating position keeps you supported the whole way.

Simple, Steady Control

An omni-directional joystick lets you go forward, reverse, and turn in place with one hand. A motor lock switch holds the chair still when you want it to stay put, and the electromagnetic brakes stop smoothly. Anti-tip wheelie bars come included to help keep the chair level.

Power That Lasts the Day

Each 48V 2Ah lithium battery covers up to 4 miles and recharges in about 1.5 to 2 hours. Two batteries come in the box, so you can carry a spare and roughly double your distance. All-terrain tires and dual 250W motors handle sidewalks, ramps, and gentle inclines up to about 9 degrees.

How to Purchase & What's Included

How do I order the GoRide 2?

This product is sold by phone so you get the right setup and the best current price. Call us toll free at 1-888-233-5563 or use live chat and we will take care of everything. All we need is your payment method and your shipping address.

If you are still deciding, we are glad to talk through the options and help you land on the right fit.

Does Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance help pay for the GoRide 2?

Most powered mobility and equipment products do not meet the strict medical device rules that Medicare and Medicaid use, so they rarely qualify. We do not work with Medicare and we do not bill private insurance directly.

Some private plans reimburse you outside of the Medicare framework. The best way to find out is to call your insurer and ask. If they say yes, we are happy to provide an invoice and proof of purchase so you can file for reimbursement.

Notice to Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries. Medicare pays for equipment only when the supplier has a Medicare supplier number. Heavy Duty Mobility does not have one, so Medicare will not pay for anything we sell you. You are personally and fully responsible for payment.

Shipping, Warranty & Returns

Shipping

How long until my GoRide 2 arrives?

Standard shipping is free. Most orders leave the warehouse within a few business days. Once your electric wheelchair is on the way, expect a transit time of roughly five to ten business days depending on how far you are from the warehouse and the size of the item.

Larger freight items ship on a pallet and the carrier calls ahead to book a curbside delivery appointment that works for you.

Will I get tracking?

Yes. As soon as your order ships we email you a tracking link so you can follow it all the way to your door.

Warranty

What does the GoRide 2 warranty cover?

SuperHandy backs this product with a one year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, measured from the date of the original purchase. Coverage goes to the original buyer.

Normal wear items and damage from misuse, accidents, unauthorized repairs or modifications, and natural disasters are not covered. To make a claim, contact us with a description of the issue and your proof of purchase and we help arrange replacement parts or a replacement product.

If something goes wrong, reach out to us first at 1-888-233-5563. We can often sort out a fix over the phone or ship a replacement part.

Returns

Can I return the GoRide 2?

Returns are possible. Please read the full returns policy for the details, then call us at 1-888-233-5563 and we will help you start the process.

Documentation, Manuals & Safety

Documentation

Safety

What should I know before the first use of the GoRide 2?

Read the owner manual fully before your first ride or use. Charge the battery as the manual describes and store it charged. Stay within the rated weight capacity and operate at a safe speed for the space you are in.

How do I care for the battery safely?

Use only the charger supplied with the electric wheelchair. Charge indoors on a hard surface away from anything flammable and do not leave a battery charging unattended for long periods. Keep the battery dry and out of extreme heat or cold.

Daily Operation & Transportation

Daily Operation

Is the GoRide 2 easy to drive?

Yes. The joystick moves the chair forward, back, and side to side, and it turns in place so you can handle doorways and tight rooms. Most riders feel comfortable within a few minutes. The motor lock switch keeps the chair from rolling when you are getting on or off.

How long does the battery take to charge?

Each battery recharges in about 1.5 to 2 hours from a standard wall outlet. Two batteries come included, so you can charge one while you use the other. A full charge covers up to 4 miles per battery under normal riding.

How small does it fold for travel?

The frame folds to roughly 29 by 12 by 29 inches and the batteries lift out to lighten the load even more. At about 40 pounds without batteries, it fits in most car trunks and stores easily at home. That makes it a good fit for trips and day outings.

Can it go outside on rougher ground?

The all-terrain tires and dual 250W motors handle sidewalks, packed paths, and gentle slopes up to about 9 degrees. Like most electric wheelchairs, it is built for dry conditions, so avoid heavy rain and standing water to protect the electronics.

Is SuperHandy a Good Brand?

SuperHandy has built its name on one simple idea, which is that with the right tools anyone can take on their own projects and stay independent. The brand launched in 2017 and has grown into a wide lineup of powered outdoor equipment and affordable mobility products.

Focus on Value

SuperHandy designs practical, no nonsense equipment and prices it so more people can afford real power and real independence. That value first approach carries across the whole range, from powered mobility to material handling.

Reach and Availability

SuperHandy products are sold through major retailers across the country and the brand made its trade show debut at Equip Expo in 2023. That broad footprint means parts and support are easier to find than with many niche makers.

Warranty and Support

SuperHandy backs its products with a one year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Support is handled with proof of purchase and a straightforward claim process for replacement parts or a replacement product.

Growing Mobility Range

SuperHandy has expanded into powered mobility with scooters, power wheelchairs, patient lifts and motorized carts that aim to make independence more affordable. We are glad to carry that range and back it with our own service.
