The Robooter E40 is built for people who want a real power wheelchair that still fits in a car trunk. The whole chair folds in two quick steps with no tools and no disassembly, dropping to a 17.7 inch tall package that slides into a sedan trunk or a closet corner. At roughly 55 lb before the battery it is one of the lighter aluminum framed power chairs in its class, and the slim 24.6 inch width clears standard interior doorways and elevator doors with room to spare.
Drive power comes from dual brushless DC motors fed by a 20Ah lithium ion battery pack that covers up to 14.3 miles on a charge. The 17.7 inch turning radius lets the E40 pivot inside bathrooms, galley kitchens and tight apartment hallways, while the honeycomb front tires and pneumatic rear tires smooth out sidewalk seams and door thresholds up to 1.6 inches.
Robooter gave the E40 a genuinely modern control setup. The joystick module includes a power key, speed adjustment, horn and an SOS key, and the chair pairs with the Robooter phone app over Bluetooth for remote driving, cruise control, a beginner mode and software updates. Fold up armrests make side transfers easier, and the underseat basket carries up to 11 lb of groceries or gear.

Daily use of the E40 stays simple. Power on at the joystick, pick one of the speed settings and drive. I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
