The Porto Mobility Ranger Jetty is a carbon fiber scooter that folds itself automatically. It weighs 37 lbs without its 4 lb quick release battery, carries riders up to 275 lbs and travels up to 12 miles at up to 4 mph. Porto describes the battery as made for air travel.
The Jetty's frame is a T700 carbon fiber monocoque, and the fold is automatic, so you aren't working hinges and latches by hand. Folded, it measures 25.6 x 18.1 x 11 in, a low package that suits a car trunk or a closet floor.
A 150W brushless motor drives it from a 24V 6Ah lithium ion battery that releases quickly, so you can carry the 4 lb battery indoors to charge. The 7 in solid tires can't puncture, ground clearance is 2.5 in, and Porto rates the Jetty for slopes up to 9 degrees.
The Jetty and the Ranger Carbon share a 275 lb rating, a 12 mile range and a 4 mph top speed. The Jetty weighs about 9 lbs more and folds itself automatically, and its battery releases quickly. The Ranger Jetty is covered by Porto Mobility's standard warranty, since Porto does not list separate terms for this model. Those standard terms cover the frame for 3 years and the electronics and batteries for 1 year.

When a covered part fails, Porto sends the replacement part and connects you with a local service provider for the repair. Yes, within 30 days of delivery, as long as it comes back in new condition in its original boxes with all of its parts. A 15% restocking fee applies. You prepay the return shipping, and the original shipping charges are not refunded, so keep the boxes until you are sure. Items sold as open box cannot be returned.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. I am very thankful for the day I first saw the MOJO on the internet. I I now own my very own MOJO.

Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
