This is a genuine Electro Kinetic Technologies swappable battery pack for the Pony Express line of lithium electric tuggers. The pack uses 24 volt, 40 Ah lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry and is built to hot swap in seconds. A second pack is the single upgrade that turns a one shift tug into a 24/7 machine.
When the pack on your tugger signals a low charge, you lift it out and drop in a fresh one from the charging stand. The depleted pack goes on the charger and is ready again in less than 3 hours. There is no downtime and no waiting for a battery to top up. A visual and audible indicator warns you before the charge runs low, and a Bluetooth app lets you watch pack status from a smartphone.
Lithium iron phosphate holds close to full rated capacity across the whole discharge, so the tug pulls near the end of a shift much as it did at the start. The chemistry charges far faster than lead acid, runs cooler, and is safe for indoor use with no acid to spill. The pack is light enough for one person to swap by hand.
This pack fits the Pony Express 1061 Lithium, 1061-HD Lithium, and 1065 Lithium tuggers. It charges on the same external 85 to 270 VAC charger supplied with those machines. Store and charge the pack within its rated temperature range and follow the EKT manual for safe handling.

It is a spare 24 volt 40 Ah LiFePO4 pack you rotate into the tugger. When the pack in use runs low you swap in this charged one so the tug keeps working while the empty pack charges. That is how the Pony Express lithium tuggers run 24/7.

The Pony Express 1061 Lithium (1500 lb), 1061-HD Lithium (2000 lb), and 1065 Lithium (5000 lb) electric tuggers. It uses the same 24 volt 40 Ah LiFePO4 pack as the one that came with the machine.
The LiFePO4 pack is far lighter than a comparable lead acid battery and is designed for one person to lift out and drop in by hand. Follow the EKT manual for the correct swap procedure.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. I am very thankful for the day I first saw the MOJO on the internet. I I now own my very own MOJO.

Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted. I was a little hesitant at first because they were from Florida. After talking to Raphael I felt a much more comfortable about the idea of having a scooter shipped all across the country am in Seattle WA. The scooter arrived,in shipping and had a torn seat. This company Listen's They are very professional, they listen to what you would like to have, and they may make suggestions, but the decisions are up to you. The person I talked with was very professional. He knew what products I may like, but in the end it was my choice of what to buy, or not buy. There was no pressure, just suggestions I appreciate people who don't pressure you into buying something.
