This is the genuine 48 VDC 120 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery pack for the Electro Kinetic Technologies Pony Express AC Tugger 25K electric tugger. It is the factory upgrade over the standard 48 VDC 100 Ah AGM pack and it is built to the same fast swap connector so it drops straight into the machine.
The move from AGM to LiFePO4 changes how the tugger performs across a full shift. The pack recharges in about 90 minutes from a standard 85 to 270 VAC single phase charger, so a crew can top up over a break. Electro Kinetic Technologies rates this lithium technology as charging up to 6X faster than lead acid batteries, and the AC Tugger 25K pulls carts weighing up to 25,000 lb on casters.
An onboard battery management system watches cell health and signals the operator to recharge near the 80 percent discharge point, which protects cycle life. Electro Kinetic Technologies rates this lithium technology at up to 14X the service life of AGM and GEL packs. The pack is UN38.3 certified for safe global transport without special packaging.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. I am very thankful for the day I first saw the MOJO on the internet. I I now own my very own MOJO.

Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted. I was a little hesitant at first because they were from Florida. This company Listen's They are very professional, they listen to what you would like to have, and they may make suggestions, but the decisions are up to you. The person I talked with was very professional. He knew what products I may like, but in the end it was my choice of what to buy, or not buy.
