The P312 Dualer is not just a regular wheelchair; it's a tool to help you get around more easily. It's also smaller in size, which means you can get through narrow hallways and tight places without trouble. Plus, it can turn around in a very small space, with a turning radius of only 21 inches, so you can move around things that are in the way without a problem.
The P312 Dualer has a seat that you can raise and lower with just the push of a button. This is great for reaching things that are up high or making sure you're comfortable. You can also pick different options to make the chair feel just right for you. It has a special Captain's Seat, armrests that flip back, and you can even change how wide the seat is. All these features make it easy to sit in the chair in comfort and style.

More capacityAvid by Merits Ultra HD Heavy Duty Power Wheelchair P331$4,279The Dualer can be switched between rear wheel drive and front wheel drive by twisting a part of the base. Rear wheel drive gives a steadier feel, and front wheel drive turns more sharply in tight spaces. You can start with rear wheel drive and switch to front wheel drive later if you need quicker turns.
The power seat rises 5 in at the push of a button, taking the seat to floor height from 21.5 in up to 26 in. That helps with reaching shelves and counters and with sitting at a comfortable height for the task.
The Dualer is rated for riders up to 300 lb. You can choose a captain seat or a pan seat, 16 or 18 in wide and 18 in deep, with an 18 to 20 in backrest. The armrests flip back for side transfers.
Merits rates the Dualer for up to 18 miles per charge on two 33Ah U1 AGM batteries, with a top speed of 5 mph. Rider weight, hills, rough ground and cold weather lower the real distance. It charges with a 5 amp off-board charger.
The Dualer is 24 in wide and 38 in long with a 21 in turning radius, which suits narrow hallways and small rooms. Many home doors give only 28 to 30 in of clear width, so measure the opening, including any door stops, before you buy.
The chair weighs 189 lb in total, and the heaviest piece when taken apart weighs 97 lb. That is too heavy for most people to lift into a trunk alone, so plan on a helper, a ramp or a vehicle lift if you need to take it in a car.
Yes, for sidewalks and paths. It is rated for a 12 degree maximum incline, with 10 in foam filled drive wheels that cannot go flat, 8 in solid front wheels and 3 in rear anti-tippers. Ground clearance is 2 in, so take curbs and raised thresholds slowly.
A lap belt is included as standard, and the controller is a PG VR2 60 amp unit. Add-ons include different footplates and elevating leg rests. The chair comes in Candy Apple Red.
The spec sheet lists HCPCS codes K0830 and K0831. A code alone does not mean a plan will pay. Medicare Part B covers a power wheelchair only when it is medically necessary, with a written order from your treating provider, and through a Medicare enrolled supplier.

We recently purchased a power wheel chair and had a great experience from start to finish. The process was smooth, communication was clear, and everything was delivered exactly as promised. The pricing was fair, and the quality exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend and looking forward to working together again!
Super helpful team in helping us make a decision. We needed a scooter that we could modify to carry our 2 Jack Russell’s at trials. This scooter worked out perfectly. Please let them help you. I’m sure there are bigger companies, but I felt we got such personal attention. It was an amazing experience. Delivery was just a few days. Remarkable!
Very good experience and serious. It's great to see their availability and responsiveness.
I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. I am very thankful for the day I first saw the MOJO on the internet. I I now own my very own MOJO.
Raffeal made my experince ordering my GIO enclosed electric scooter great and kept me up with tracking date/time of delivery. He was patient and demostrated care and great customer service.

I was very impressed by the shopping experience and customer service offered by heavydutymobility. com. They didn't try to put sales pressure on me and made sure that I was happy with the scooter that I was getting. They even called me after the purchased to make sure I was happy with the delivery and everything else.
My sales rep was very great at keeping me up to date on the status of my order and following up with me to make sure that my delivery experience was excellent. We are so pleased with the Scoota Trailer we ordered through Heavy Duty Mobility. We dealt with Raphael who could not have be nicer and more helpful. He stayed in close contact letting me know when the manufacturer received the order, when it was complete and when it shipped. The customer service was second to none. It was obvious in all communications with Raphael that he genuinely cared that our son's needs were met with this trailer for his new powerchair. I highly recommend going through Heavy Duty Mobility when ordering equipment for yourself or your handicapped loved ones.

Heavy Duty Mobility did a fine Job matching me up with the besr mobility scooter to meet my needs. The Afikim S-3 is a high quality piece of equipment. It operates as advertised. It maintains it's speed while ascending the hills in the small town, where I live. Heavy Duty Mobility was by my side throughout the entire purchase process. Even after I took delivery of the fine S-3 scooter and needed to have questions answered about the machine. Jon Fisher Cedarville, MI
Recently purchased a mobility scooter for a family member and my experience could not have been more positive. I spoke with Raphael on the phone and via text a number of times. He was enormously knowledgeable and helpful. Scooter arrived quickly and was just as expected.
I was looking for a scooter for my mother. I researched it online and found some sites that were selling the scooter for the same price. Heavy duty mobility was willing to beat the price as they had a 5% discount. They were also. Extremely kind and helpful. They answered all my questions and what they did not know. They contacted the company to find out and got back to me the same day. They kept me in the loop with shipping and also reached out to me to confirm receipt and to make sure everything was correct and working properly. Very impressed
Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted. I was a little hesitant at first because they were from Florida. After talking to Raphael I felt a much more comfortable about the idea of having a scooter shipped all across the country am in Seattle WA. The scooter arrived,in shipping and had a torn seat. Ops Raphael took care of the problem got me a new seat ASP negotiated with the makers of my scooter.for me. Couple months into having my scooter. I had an issue with the wheel making a noise.. Called my dealer Raphael he worked tirelessly negotiating with the maker of the Scooter to make sure the issue got fixed . Would’ve loved not to have any issues with my new scooter, but knowing Raphael was on my side, helping me anytime there was an issue to get the problem fixed was a huge blessing. Raphael Perlmann Has restored my faith in Customer service . So many companies sell your product and then they don’t care they got their money ! Not that way at heavy mobility scooters store . I have seen that this company and Raphael Perlmann cares about their customers after the sell. I will recommend to my mother and any other family member, and friend to order a scooter from Raphael Perlmann ..: His care and consideration for me and my Scooter has definitely restored my faith and Customer service . The quality of customer service I receive from him is a wonderful change from the type of customer service I get from businesses I work with and give money to every month . This company Listen's They are very professional, they listen to what you would like to have, and they may make suggestions, but the decisions are up to you. The person I talked with was very professional. He knew what products I may like, but in the end it was my choice of what to buy, or not buy. There was no pressure, just suggestions I appreciate people who don't pressure you into buying something.
I bought a mobility scooter for my upcoming vacation. I needed something to take me over grass. The staff at heavydutymobility.com were more than patient, guiding me with all my endless questions with endless patience! The scooter itself is from the Afiscooters brand, which was recommended and so far, so good.
Very pleased with the advice and help in getting a mobility scooter. I can't walk very far anymore and needed a reliable machine, not a cheaply-made one. Staff were very assistive.
I was helped by Emily in an exemplary way. They don't forget about you and offer very good support on how to use your scooter. Thanks, Emily, 5 stars!
Very helpful staff. They know their scooters. I ended up getting an Afiscooter model and am very pleased.
