Lock both brakes first. Pull the pin at the handle, move the handles to the other position and push the pin back in until it locks. For transport chair mode, fold the footrests down before the rider sits. For rollator mode, fold them up so they do not catch your feet. Check the pin is fully locked before every use in either mode.

The brakes are on the handles. Squeeze to slow down and push down to lock them for parking. Always lock the brakes before anyone sits down or stands up, and never ride on the seat while in rollator mode.

The handles adjust between about 32.7 and 39.2 inches. A good starting point is the height of your wrist crease with your arms hanging relaxed at your sides, so your elbows bend slightly when you hold the grips.

The Gavo is made for sidewalks, stores, malls, restaurants, hotels and paved paths. The 12 inch rear wheels roll over small bumps better than a typical rollator, but take extra care on steep slopes, curbs, gravel and loose ground.

The Gavo folds without tools to about 10.4 inches wide and weighs about 22 lbs, so it fits the trunk of most cars and stands in a closet or the corner of a room. Check the folded size against your trunk if space is tight.

The Gavo has no battery, so most airlines treat it like any other walker or manual chair and will gate check it. Call your airline before you travel and give them the weight and folded size if they ask.
