The enhanced 350lb. weight load is larger than most foldable scooters and is bolstered by a solid aluminum structure. At just 58 lbs. total weight, the Triaxe Cruze Scooter gets you where you need to be without being overly cumbersome to manage. Travel should not be limited by any means and with the Triaxe Cruze Scooter, your travel dreams will come true. The foldable format allows the device to be airline rated and easy to use on public transit or practically anywhere. When folded, the Triaxe Cruze Scooter fits easily into a vehicle’s cargo space, so no matter where you are, you have a way to get around. When fully charged, the device can go up to 18 miles and the battery life indicator helps you manage power more efficiently during your daily travels.

Optimal Safety Features

One of the biggest issues mobility challenged individuals can have is ensuring proper safety while out on their device. The Triaxe Cruze Scooter has been designed to enhance mobility while keeping safety well in hand. An onboard headlight allows you to easily light the way in dimly lit or dark areas and the horn provides an audible response when necessary. Your personal safety has been built into every part of the Triaxe Cruze, so you can travel with confidence.

A Smooth Ride Experience

The Triaxe Cruze Scooter is not just a way to get from one place to another. It is designed to provide a comfortable ride experience on a variety of terrains. A front suspension system allows for proper adjustment when moving from one surface to another. The 18” seat offers not only substantial support for larger individuals, but maintains optimal cushion as well. The Triaxe Cruze Scooter also comes with an adjustable tiller, so you can find the right height for your ideal comfort level.

How Easy is the Triaxe Cruze Scooter to Fold?

How fast does the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze go?

At full speed, you can reach 6 mph.

You will find some other brands offer scooters that go faster than this, however high quality brands put a high emphasis on safety too.

In order for a mobility scooter to go faster than around 10 mph, heavy investment must be made to ensure it stays just as safe. For this reason, the more reputable and safe a brand, the more they cap the top speed of their mobility scooters.

How long do the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze batteries last per charge? How many years of use can I get out of the batteries?

Battery running time per charge is measured in miles as opposed to time i.e. how many miles can a fully charged set of batteries take the scooter?

The answer depends on the user’s weight as well as the kind of terrain the scooter is operated upon.

Please take these manufacturer figures with a grain of salt, bearing in mind manufacturers may test their scooters in optimum conditions you won’t find in real life.

For a Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter, the batteries last: Up to 18 miles.

The lifetime of your Triaxe Cruze batteries is approximately 3 years, but very much depends on how much you use your scooter and whether you take good care of your batteries.

Lithium-ion batteries can be expensive to replace, please be in contact with us for a quote.

What kind of batteries are used in the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze?

This mobility scooter uses lithium-ion batteries. These batteries are maintenance-free, meaning you don’t need to add water to them or anything like that.

They happily stay under their shroud for the duration of their lifetime and you shouldn’t need to do anything to them at all.

Lithium-ion batteries can be expensive to replace, please contact us if you require more information.

This model has lithium batteries which are airline safe.

Will the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze seat fit me?

This scooter's seat size is 18". This is narrower than non travel seats, since this is a folding travel scooter and everything is going to be more compact.

The seatback on folding travel scooters is also less comfortable than heavy duty scooters, and this scooter has no armrests.

How much weight can the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze carry?

The weight capacity of the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter is 350 lbs.

What kind of ground clearance does the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze have? Is it good for paths and trails?

Since the Triaxe Cruze is a folding travel scooter, it is not designed for off-road use, dirt paths and grass.

It will probably be able to cope with short stretches of such terrain but not consistent, prolonged use. This scooter works best indoors, and on paved outdoor surfaces.

How big is the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze? Will it fit indoors and how sharp does it turn?

The Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze is perfect for both indoors and outdoors. This scooter has a tight turning radius and is fine for use inside houses and apartments.

The turning radius of the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze scooter is 30”.

How to Purchase & What's Included

Why are mobility scooters so expensive?

We sell all our scooters at the minimum price (MAP) the manufacturer allows us to advertise for. If we advertise for cheaper, we could be prosecuted. This means we are cheaper or at the same price as all dealers complying with the rules. If you find another site selling for cheaper, we will price match, so long as they are within MAP. Scooters can be expensive because of the following reasons: The recent skyrocketing of shipping prices, coupled with rising inflation, have made these scooters significantly more expensive than they were, say one year ago.

Does Medicare/Medicaid or private insurance help pay for the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze?

Many heavy-duty/recreational mobility scooters do not qualify as medical devices under Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance strict rules. Though you might be disabled and using the device in a full medical sense, Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance seem to want to save as much money as they can, and do so by making the rules about which models qualify very strict. You might have spent significant time trying to find a Medicare/Medicaid provider online, to no avail. This is because it’s actually very hard for dealers to become Medicare providers, again making it hard for patients to get free scooters, again saving the insurance money. We don’t work with Medicare. We also do not bill private insurances directly. Some private insurances may reimburse you outside of Medicare’s framework. To check if your insurer does this, we recommend contacting them directly and asking. If they say yes, we’re happy to provide invoices/proof of purchases so you can get your money back from your insurer. Here’s a full disclaimer with regard to Medicare/Medicaid: Notice to Medicare/Medicaid Beneficiaries. Medicare will pay for medical equipment and supplies only if a supplier has a Medicare supplier number. Heavy Duty Mobility does not have a Medicare supplier number. Medicare will not pay for any medical equipment and supplies we sell or rent to you. You will be personally and fully responsible for payment.

What do I need to do to purchase the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze online/over the phone?

To purchase over the phone, simply call our toll-free number 1-888-233-5563 and we can help you from there. If you are sure about the model you want, all we would need is your payment method (easiest is credit card or cash/checking account card) and your shipping address. Why are there such long lead times on some mobility scooters?

Covid has dealt a horrible blow to pretty much every industry on the planet. Right from mining materials to processing them to the factories that produce parts, shipping and freight companies - at every stage of the chain there are workforce shortages and severe delays.

My Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter is showing a long lead time above. Why should I buy a scooter now if in any case I won’t get it right away?

Unfortunately, the way things are nowadays, with delays across the entire supply chain, if you wait until there is no lead time on your scooter, you might end up waiting forever. As soon as new stock comes in, it is assigned to orders that were already placed, sometimes weeks in advance. We don’t know how soon the situation will get better - and it may actually get worse before getting better again.

For this reason, customers are placing their orders as soon as they are able, to be placed on the list for as soon as the next scooters are ready to ship.

Where will my Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter ship from?

Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooters generally ship from the main warehouse in Groveland, Florida.

Who will ship my Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter?

Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze scooters are almost always shipped by the FedEx Carriers - a freight and trucking company. In most instances, your scooter is delivered by 18-wheeler, unless you choose white glove delivery.

How does the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter arrive – is any setup required?

The Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze comes in a cardboard box, pretty much fully assembled and ready to ride.

How do I book a delivery appointment slot for my Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter?

The shipping company delivering your scooter will call you to arrange delivery. We will also give you their number so you can call them to preemptively arrange an appointment.

What if I miss my delivery appointment slot for my Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter?

If you miss your delivery appointment, the shipping company will usually take your scooter back to their local terminal in your area and try to reschedule an appointment. There is usually no charge for one extra appointment. Please contact us to keep us in the loop if you do miss your appointment so we can ensure the scooter isn’t sent all the way back to the place of origin.

What if my order hasn’t arrived by the time it was supposed to?

Especially since Covid, which made the truck driver shortage issue even worse than it was, your shipment might be delayed. If this happens, please call us 1-888-233-5563, or the number of the shipping company we provide you with so you can get an update on your shipping status.

What happens if my order for an Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter is damaged?

  • When your scooter arrives, do not sign any forms until you have opened the boxes and ascertained that everything is as it should be.
  • If the external boxes are damaged, make sure to note this next to your signature. Make sure to inspect the contents before signing.
  • If your scooter is damaged in a way that the entire scooter needs to be replaced, just refuse the entire delivery.
  • If your scooter is damaged in a way that a spare part needs to be sent out and installed (eg a broken mirror), accept the delivery, and list any damaged items next to your signature.
  • If you find damage after having signed for delivery without any damage notes, this can be really problematic as the shipping company may try to shift the blame onto you. This is why it’s important to check for damage, especially if the outside boxes are damaged.

What happens if my Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter breaks down?

If your scooter malfunctions, please contact us.

Sometimes we are able to troubleshoot with you over the phone to fix the issue. In other cases, it’s a matter of shipping out a simple part, say if a knob needs replacing, under warranty conditions.

If necessary and you have an in-home service warranty, we will send out a technician to your home to repair your scooter. The time this is valid for varies according to the plan you purchased in the “Options & Upgrades” section on this page. This includes everything besides wear & tear (such as seat wear, flat tire etc.) and the batteries, which have a different warranty policy.

Depending on your location, it might take a few days to locate a local technician, arrange an appointment etc. This warranty service is not intended as an emergency breakdown service. If you are stuck and need urgent help, call 911.

Please note, it’s really important we don’t send technicians out for nothing, so to be open with you from the start, we will let you know that if a technician comes out for a problem which isn’t under warranty or was a user error, you may be charged for this visit.

Do I call you or the manufacturer if my Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter breaks down?

Contact us before contacting the manufacturer.

How long does the warranty on Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter last for? What’s included/excluded from the warranty?

The Triaxe Scooter is issued a 3-year warranty on the frame of the scooter and a 12-month warranty on electrical components. Triaxe Scooters also provides a 6-month warranty on each Lithium-Ion battery. The warranty begins immediately following purchase.

As an upgrade, we offer in-home warranties, where a technician will come to your home to repair your device. You can see these options in the "Options & Upgrades" section. This includes everything besides wear & tear (such as seat wear, flat tire etc.) and the batteries, which have a different warranty policy.

What can I do after the warranty period? Can I get spare parts for Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooters? Who repairs these scooters and where?

After the warranty period, you are still welcome to contact us at any time.

Parts are available through us or the manufacturer, though you will be charged for these.

If you need someone to install parts or for other labor services, local technicians are available throughout the contiguous USA , at your cost.

Contact us for help finding a tech, or for more details.

Daily Operation & Transportation

Daily Operation

Is the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter easy to drive? How does acceleration work? How does braking work?

The Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter is super easy to drive and control.

Remember, this is a scooter which was designed from scratch for seniors and those with disabilities. It takes into account that you might have slower reaction times and has automatic braking whenever you let go of the throttle.

It also features slow-speed mode for confined areas or whilst you’re building up your driving skills and want to go a little slower.

Acceleration/reverse is achieved by a lever in the handlebars, and braking is automatic when you let go of the brakes.

Due to the safety automatic brakes which kick in every time you let go of the throttle, your driving might seem a little jerky at first, but most people catch on very quickly and learn to use the throttle and brakes in a way that gives a smooth ride.

I only have use of my left hand. Can the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter work for left handed users? Can the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter be operated with one hand?

This scooter uses wig-wag throttle acceleration, meaning you can control it with one hand, without any modifications needed.

Can I ride the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter in the rain, snow, wind and hot sun?

  • Rain: It’s OK and safe if you get caught in the rain once in a while, or go through an occasional puddle, but you should try to avoid a trip if you know it’s going to rain.
  • Snow and ice: We cannot take responsibility for using the scooter in these kinds of weather conditions.
  • Cold weather: Fine, though it does negatively impact the battery health and lifetime.
  • Wind: Generally not an issue unless very strong winds that could tip the scooter over. If you have a mobility scooter with a canopy, remember, very strong winds can act as a sail to tip over your scooter.
  • Hot sun: No issue as far as the scooter is concerned. Remember to take along ample hydration!

Do the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter batteries need maintenance?

This mobility scooter uses maintenance-free batteries which do not need any care until they die, after around 3 years of use.

Call us 1-888-233-5563 to get details on a local technician in your area.

For this kind of mobility scooter, you can expect to get a lifetime of around 7 years or more.

This obviously depends on the way you take care of your scooter amongst other factors.

Transportation

Will the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze scooter fit in my car trunk/truck bed?

This scooter will not fit in the vast majority of car trunks. It will however fit on most pickup truck beds.

If you’re planning on transporting your mobility scooter on a pickup truck bed, you’ll probably need a ramp to get the scooter up onto the truck bed.

Please contact us for more details at [xyz-ihs snippet="Live-Chat-three"]

I don’t have a large enough vehicle to transport the Enhance Mobility Triaxe Cruze mobility scooter. What are my options?

  • Electric lift: The most common solution is to purchase a platform-style vehicle lift, which sits on your trailer hitch.

If you don’t have a trailer hitch on your vehicle, you’ll need to have one installed. The platform lowers right down to road level, you ride the scooter onto the platform, secure the scooter with provided straps and then activate a lift which raises the platform a few feet off the ground. You’ll need a vehicle that can take a max tongue weight of at least 500 lbs, so this won’t work for saloon and hatchback vehicles.

We sell electric lifts with our collection suitable for the Triaxe Cruze.

  • Manual Platform: Like an electric lift, this has a platform which sits on your trailer hitch, but this platform does not rise and decened, instead, it has a built-in ramp which flips out, allowing you to roll the scooter up onto the platform.

You’ll need a vehicle that can take a max tongue weight of at least 500 lbs, so this won’t work for saloon and hatchback vehicles.

Check out our , click manual platforms, great for the Cruze scooter.

  • Scooter trailer: A trailer on wheels designed for mobility scooters, attachable to your trailer hitch.

There is only one company that designs and produces a trailer specifically for mobility scooters or you can opt for a generic trailer that matches this scooter's weight and dimensions.

Explore our ScooterTrailer product page for more info.
