The Passport was made to go where you go. It folds flat in under a minute and weighs just 35 pounds, so one person can lift it into a trunk or tuck it in a closet. The lithium battery lifts out in seconds, which means the scooter meets common airline rules for cabin and checked travel. If you spend part of the year away from home or you love a road trip, this is a scooter you can bring along without a lift or a ramp.
You sit on a padded faux-leather seat with a supportive backrest, and the handlebar raises and lowers from 29.5 inches to 35.4 inches so taller and shorter riders both get a natural reach. The tight 31 inch turning radius helps you steer through doorways, store aisles, and around furniture. A front basket comes included for a purse, a water bottle, or a small bag of groceries.
A brushless hub motor and a 48V 2Ah lithium battery move the Passport at up to 3.7 mph, an easy walking pace for sidewalks and indoor floors. One charge covers up to 6.5 miles and takes about 1.5 hours to top off. The battery system is swappable, so you can carry a spare and roughly double your range to around 13 miles on longer days. The most useful add-on is a second 48V 2Ah lithium battery, which lets you swap packs and roughly double your range to around 13 miles. Some private plans reimburse you outside of the Medicare framework. The best way to find out is to call your insurer and ask. If they say yes, we are happy to provide an invoice and proof of purchase so you can file for reimbursement.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
