The Passport is one of the lightest folding scooters SuperHandy makes. The whole scooter weighs about 35 lbs and the heaviest single piece to lift is the frame at roughly 26 lbs. That makes it realistic for one person to fold it, set it in a trunk, and take it back out at the other end.
Each lithium battery gives up to 6.5 miles on a charge and takes about 1.5 hours to fill. Because two batteries come in the box, you can swap in a fresh pack partway through the day and stretch the total range to about 13 miles. Both batteries lift out by hand, so you can charge them indoors away from the scooter.
Three solid rubber tires never go flat and the top speed of 3.7 mph stays calm and easy to manage on sidewalks and store aisles. The seat and the handlebar tiller both adjust in height and the padded seat lifts off for folding. The frame carries riders up to 275 lbs.

SuperHandy sells a spare 48V 2Ah lithium battery so you can carry more than two packs for longer days. An upgraded padded seat made for the GUT112 frame is also available if you want extra cushioning. A carry bag comes included in the box for folding and storage.

Most powered mobility and equipment products do not meet the strict medical device rules that Medicare and Medicaid use, so they rarely qualify. We do not work with Medicare and we do not bill private insurance directly.
Some private plans reimburse you outside of the Medicare framework. The best way to find out is to call your insurer and ask. If they say yes, we are happy to provide an invoice and proof of purchase so you can file for reimbursement.
Notice to Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries. Medicare pays for equipment only when the supplier has a Medicare supplier number. Heavy Duty Mobility does not have one, so Medicare will not pay for anything we sell you. You are personally and fully responsible for payment.

Read the owner manual fully before your first ride or use. Charge the battery as the manual describes and store it charged. Stay within the rated weight capacity and operate at a safe speed for the space you are in.
Use only the charger supplied with the mobility scooter. Charge indoors on a hard surface away from anything flammable and do not leave a battery charging unattended for long periods. Keep the battery dry and out of extreme heat or cold.
Yes. The Passport uses simple thumb controls and a speed dial, so you set a gentle pace and go. Top speed is 3.7 mph, which stays easy to manage on sidewalks and inside stores. Reverse is slow and controlled for backing out of tight spots.
Each battery lifts out by hand and plugs into the wall charger. A full charge takes about 1.5 hours per battery. You can charge one pack indoors while the other stays on the scooter, so a fresh battery is always ready.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted. The person I talked with was very professional. He knew what products I may like, but in the end it was my choice of what to buy, or not buy.
