A fall at home is frightening and lifting someone by hand can hurt both of you. The GoRise FC does the heavy work for you. It rolls up to the person, cradles them on a gently sloped cushion and raises them smoothly from floor level all the way up to seat height. One caregiver can guide the whole transfer without straining a back.
The lift carries its own rechargeable lithium ion battery so you can use it anywhere in the home with no cord in the way. An LED indicator tells you when the charge is running low. When you would rather stay plugged in, the AC power option keeps the lift ready around the clock. That backup means a dead battery never leaves you stuck.
Comfort matters when someone is already shaken. The seat rests on a gently sloped cushion, the foldable armrests keep the arms supported and a secure safety belt holds the body in place. The lift rises at a slow and quiet 0.4 inches per second so there are no sudden jolts. Every part of the motion stays calm and predictable.
At 56 pounds the GoRise FC is light for a powered lift. Five inch silent caster wheels roll it from room to room and a handy top handle makes it simple to reposition or tuck away once the transfer is done. The aluminum frame keeps the weight down without giving up strength.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated.
