The GoRise AIR uses a lithium ion battery and a quiet air pump to raise you up to 10 inches as you stand. That extra push takes the strain off tired knees and hips and gives you back the confidence to get up on your own. When you are ready to sit, the cushion lowers you down slowly and safely.
In comfort mode the single air chamber acts as a soft seat cushion that eases pressure on your tailbone. Many people find it kinder to sit on than a plain foam pad, and the breathable cover wipes clean in seconds. You can leave it on a favorite chair all day and switch to lift mode only when you need to stand.
You can run the cushion two ways. Press the buttons on the unit itself or use the wireless remote from up to 5.5 yards away. Inflating for a lift and deflating to sit are both fully automatic, so there is nothing to hold down and nothing to time. A caregiver can help from across the room or you can manage the whole thing on your own.
The device weighs about 10 lbs, so it moves easily from the dining chair to the sofa to the car. It works on wheelchairs, park benches, and most firm seats. One battery charge gives you around 20 full lifts before it needs about two hours on the charger.

Some private plans reimburse you outside of the Medicare framework. The best way to find out is to call your insurer and ask. If they say yes, we are happy to provide an invoice and proof of purchase so you can file for reimbursement.

Read the owner manual fully before your first ride or use. Charge the battery as the manual describes and store it charged. Stay within the rated weight capacity and operate at a safe speed for the space you are in.
Use only the charger supplied with the seat lift cushion. Charge indoors on a hard surface away from anything flammable and do not leave a battery charging unattended for long periods. Keep the battery dry and out of extreme heat or cold.
You sit on the cushion the way you would any seat. When you want to stand, press the up button on the unit or on the remote and the cushion inflates to gently raise you. To sit, press the down button and it lowers you slowly. Both actions run on their own once you start them.
One full charge gives you around 20 complete lifts. When the battery runs low, plug the charger into the unit and it fills back up in about 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours. You can keep using the cushion in comfort mode while you wait for a good time to charge.
Yes. In comfort mode the cushion holds a lower amount of air and works as a soft seat pad. It eases pressure on your tailbone and stays comfortable through a long meal or a TV show. You switch to lift mode only when you are ready to stand.
The whole cushion weighs about 10 lbs and packs down small, so you can carry it from room to room or set it on a car seat, a wheelchair, or a park bench. Many owners keep one at home and bring it along for visits and outings.
The cover is breathable and wipes clean with a damp cloth. Keep the air pump module dry and store the cushion out of direct sun when it is not in use.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
