The Battery Charging Station is the off-board charging stand for the swappable lithium battery pack used by Pony Express lithium electric tuggers. It is a genuine Electro Kinetic Technologies part built to charge the tugger's quick-change pack away from the machine.
Pony Express lithium tuggers run a 24 VDC 40 Ah lithium iron phosphate pack that lifts out by hand. With this charging station you keep a second pack ready on the stand. When the pack in the tugger signals a low charge, an operator swaps in the freshly charged spare and sets the depleted pack on the station. The tugger goes back to work in seconds and the empty pack charges while you keep moving loads.
The station holds the swappable pack for charging away from the machine. Its charger accepts 85 to 270 VAC single-phase power at 50/60 Hz and plugs into standard building outlets. A depleted pack reaches a full charge in less than 3 hours, which is what makes true around the clock operation possible on a single pair of packs.
This is the correct charging accessory for the 1061-LITHIUM, 1061-HD LITHIUM and 1065-LITHIUM tuggers. Lithium iron phosphate chemistry is light enough to hand-swap and long-lasting. Follow the EKT operator manual for charging location, ventilation and handling. Pair this station with a spare battery pack to unlock continuous shift after shift towing.

It charges the swappable lithium battery pack off the tugger. You keep a spare pack on the stand, swap it into the machine when the running pack gets low and charge the depleted pack while the tugger keeps working.
It is the correct charging accessory for the lithium models that use the quick-change pack. That includes the 1061-LITHIUM, the 1061-HD LITHIUM and the 1065-LITHIUM. It is not used with AGM battery tuggers.
A depleted 40 Ah lithium iron phosphate pack reaches a full charge in less than 3 hours on the stand, per Electro Kinetic Technologies. Exact time varies with the starting state of charge.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. I am very thankful for the day I first saw the MOJO on the internet. I I now own my very own MOJO.

Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted. I was a little hesitant at first because they were from Florida. This company Listen's They are very professional, they listen to what you would like to have, and they may make suggestions, but the decisions are up to you. The person I talked with was very professional. He knew what products I may like, but in the end it was my choice of what to buy, or not buy.
