The Bangeran Mammoth Ergonomic All Terrain is the comfort focused member of the Mammoth family. Where the standard Mammoth uses a fixed 18 inch backrest, this version adds a taller 16 inch wide backrest that adjusts from 18 to 24 inches, a 20 inch wide seat with a thick foam cushion and a higher 20 inch seat height that makes standing transfers easier for taller riders.
All terrain ability comes from 12 inch pneumatic rear tires, 8 inch solid front tires and dual shock absorbing suspension. That combination lets the chair roll over grass, gravel paths, cobblestones and speed bumps that stop smaller travel chairs, while intelligent electromagnetic brakes hold it steady on slopes.
The party trick is the fold. Press a button on the included Bluetooth remote from up to 10 yards away and the aircraft grade aluminum frame collapses in about 3 seconds to a 24 by 17 by 30 inch package that fits a car trunk or closet. At 64 lb with the battery installed it stays manageable for a caregiver, and the 12Ah lithium battery is airline friendly for cruise and flight travel.

Riders who need a wider seat or more capacity can step up to the Mammoth EX with its 22 inch seat and 400 lb rating.
Every chair ships with the control joystick, the Bluetooth remote controller, the charger and the user manual. A large zipper storage bag hangs under the seat frame and mesh side pouches keep a phone and small items within reach.

Key safety notes for this model. Keep total rider and cargo weight under the 300 lb rating. The intelligent electromagnetic brakes engage automatically when the joystick returns to center, so switch to freewheel mode only on level ground with a helper present. Rated climbing ability is a gentle grade of about 6 degrees, so avoid steep ramps. Inflate the 12 inch rear tires to the pressure printed on the sidewall before off pavement use. Charge only with the supplied charger and never fold the chair while someone is seated.
Daily driving happens through the waterproof 360 degree analog joystick, which can be mounted on either armrest for left or right hand use. Speed is adjustable so new riders can start slow indoors and open it up outside.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated.
